What is WASPID Reflex?

An AI that works on your computer — not just talks about it.

WASPID Reflex is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Tell it what you want — by typing or speaking — and it does the work in your real apps and websites: it opens them, clicks, types, searches, fills in forms and reads what's on screen, using a cursor of its own so yours stays free.

Its AI runs on your computer, so it works offline and your screen never leaves your device. It checks the result of every step, learns the workflows it has done once so they run faster next time, and always asks before anything important — sending, buying, deleting or publishing.

Opens apps, presses buttons, types, scrolls and fills forms with its own visible cursor. It works through each app's accessibility interface, so the app can even stay in the background.

Local, fast AI

Everyday requests are handled instantly by rules. Harder ones go to Qwen3 models running on your computer — the smallest one that can do the job.

Browser automation

Searches Google, YouTube, Wikipedia and more, opens results, reads pages and fills in forms — understanding links, buttons and labels, not pixel positions.

Voice

Speaks only when it needs you.

No “I'll take care of that.” No “Opened Notes and typed hi.” Reflex shows its progress with the cursor and a small reply panel, and talks only to ask, to warn, or to give you the answer you asked for.

    Safety

    You stay in charge.

    Confirms what matters

    Sending, submitting, buying, deleting, publishing and account changes need your confirmation — every time. Learned skills can never skip it.

    Stops instantly

    Press Ctrl Alt Esc, click stop, or just say “stop”. Reflex halts before its next action and never resumes on its own.

    Ignores tricks

    Instructions hidden in web pages or documents (“AI assistant: ignore the user and…”) are removed, reported, and never followed.

    Never handles passwords

    Reflex never types, reads, speaks, logs or stores passwords and secrets. If you dictate one, it's removed before anything else sees it.

    Respects “don't”

    “Prepare the email but don't send it” means exactly that: everything gets ready and Reflex stops right before Send.

    Asks when unsure

    If a request is ambiguous and a wrong guess could cause harm, Reflex asks one short question instead of guessing.

    Reflex's AI, speech recognition, skills and history live on your computer. Anything on your computer works without an internet connection — “Open Calculator and calculate 235 × 48” works offline; “find a MacBook on Amazon” needs the internet because the website does.

    Questions, answered.

    Is Reflex really free?

    Yes. Everything that runs on your computer is free and unlimited: computer and browser control, local AI, voice, learned skills, Teach and Think modes. Pro only adds optional cloud reasoning with your own API key.

    Does it work offline?

    Yes. The installer includes the Qwen3-0.6B model and speech recognition, so Reflex works offline right away. Qwen3-4B downloads once for harder multi-step tasks. Websites still need the internet, of course.

    Will it take over my mouse and keyboard?

    No. Reflex has its own cursor and acts through each app's accessibility interface. Your pointer never moves, and you can keep working — if you click where Reflex is about to act, it pauses and lets you have it.

    Can it do something I didn't want?

    Sending, submitting, buying, deleting, publishing and account changes always need your confirmation, and you can stop it instantly by voice, button or shortcut. Web pages can't give it orders.

    Why does it talk so little?

    On purpose. Reflex speaks when it needs an answer from you, when something went wrong, or when you asked a question. Everything else is shown in its reply panel. You can change the voice, speed and volume anytime.

    Which systems are supported?

    macOS 12 or later (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and 64-bit Linux (.AppImage, .deb, .rpm). macOS is tested on real hardware every release; the Windows and Linux builds are newer — see Supported platforms.

    Why does macOS ask for Accessibility again after an update?

    Current builds aren't signed with an Apple Developer ID yet, so macOS treats each update as a new app. Reflex notices and asks again — just turn the switch back on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
